Dog Friendly Guidelines

[[good-shepherd-galax|Good Shepherd Galax]] welcomes well-behaved dogs to attend church with their owners under the following guidelines:

Leash Requirement: Dogs must be on a leash and remain with their owner at all times.
Sanctuary Mats: Reclining mats are available in the narthex and can be brought into the sanctuary for dogs.
Excessive Barking: If a dog barks excessively at the celebrant or lay leader, the owner must take them outside.
Blessing of the Animals: Good Shepherd hosts an annual Blessing of the Animals on September 26 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (see event-3190565).
